Fashion With Passion

“We absolutely love our new home at The Forum,” exclaims Nicole Miller boutique owner Stefanie Lyon, recalling the move she made from La Jolla in August 2011. “We were lucky to find a ‘lofty’ space, which gave us the ability to have a private in-store bridal salon as well as double the space for our signature dresses, sportswear, shoes, and accessories.” Lyon says her first year at The Forum surpassed expectations. “The center has such a great energy — the best part is the clientele. Having wonderful neighbors like Lululemon, Apple, Sur la Table, and Antropologie certainly helps, too. And I also feel blessed to have a warm, friendly, and professional staff.”

Lyon’s commitment to fashion goes beyond the surface. “We love to support our customers and their causes,” she explains. Primary beneficiaries include the JDRF San Diego Chapter and the Toby Wells Foundation. “The Wells family started out as customers and became dear friends,” she says. “I am inspired by their continuous giving and community support.” Another charity partner is Cinderella’s Attic (the boutique donates previous-season dresses in hopes that they will help young girls feel confidant and beautiful at their prom). Lyon is also planning a dress drive for the spring in which clients can bring in previously worn dresses and in turn receive a discount on their new dress.
