Rendezvous In The Zoo Gala

On Saturday, June 21, at 6:30pm, San Diego Zoo presents RITZ 2014, Wild Things, A Night in the Savana, to benefit new habitats for zebras, warthogs, ibex, and baboons in the Conrad Prebys Africa Rocks exhibit at the San Diego Zoo, which will replace Dog and Cat Canyon, one of the oldest zones of the zoo. The new exhibit will provide the zoo with the opportunity to include species that haven’t been seen on site for over 30 years — as well as some that have never been seen in San Diego before. Every dollar donated will be matched 2.5 times through the combined matches of honorary chairs Audrey S. Geisel and Ernest Rady.
