10 Best Dressed Awards

Dress for Success San Diego and Leonard Simpson of Fashion Forward are teaming up to empower disadvantaged women to achieve social and economic self-sufficiency. The 7th annual gala, founded by Simpson and Sally B. Thornton, will celebrate local philanthropists who dress every day with the “gloves of compassion and a coat of courage.” Ten males and ten females will be recognized not only for their fashion sense, but also for their giving spirit and philanthropic efforts. The award ceremony, hosted by actress Vanessa Williams, will be held on Thursday, November 13, at 5:30pm, at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. Enjoy a theatrical runway fashion show, awards ceremony, formal dinner, dancing, and silent and live auction. Event chairs are Mina Kooklani and Kristi Pieper; honorary chair is Kelly Emberg.
