Encinitas 101’s Annual Fall Festival

The 24th Annual Fall Festival, presented by the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Associaton and sponsored by Tri-City Medical Center, returns to downtown Encinitas on Sunday, November 23, 9am-4pm. With 450+ booths to visit, plus dozens of unique downtown Encinitas retailers, this is a perfect opportunity for holiday shopping. Fair-goers can enjoy music and dance performances at two stages, as well as the Kids Zone, Dog Zone, Bike Valet, and free Smart car test drives.

Headlining the day’s musical entertainment are the Bayou Brothers and Samisi & FulaBula, both playing The Lumberyard Courtyard Stage at Hwy 101 and H Street. A few blocks down at F Street, nine different music and dance acts will take their turns on Hansen’s Community Stage.

Children of all ages will enjoy a wide range of interactive booths and free activities in the Jamba Juice Kids Zone, located in The Lumberyard parking lot at Hwy 101 and H Street. Dog owners and their canine companions will receive special treatment in the VCA Animal Hospital Dog Zone, located in The Lumberyard’s I Street lot. In addition to dog-centric exhibitors, there will be a 2000+ square foot artificial turf dog park, including an agility course provided by Cognitive Dogs Training Center.

Cyclists can leave their bikes at either end of the festival, at D Street or J Street, thanks to the free Bike Valet service sponsored by Electra Bikes. At J Street, the south end of the festival, Smart will be offering free test drives of both electric and gas-powered models.

Coast Hwy 101 will be closed from D Street to J Street, starting at 4am. Parking will be available at the Moonlight Beach, City Hall, and North County Transit District Coaster Station lots (along Vulcan Ave. at D and E Streets). (www.encinitas101.com)

Hi there, can someone please tell me who the vendor was that sold a whole bunch of stuff made out of old alcohol bottles? They were selling mugs, lamps, and soap/lotion dispensers primarily. I’d like to buy a few more things from them and I recall they had their website address up there, but I didn’t write it down so if anyone can help I’d really appreciate it!

    Thanks!
