On Wednesday, May 6, at 10:30am, The Country Friends presents its spring membership luncheon at the newly renovated Del Mar Hilton. Enjoy a presentation featuring the organization’s 2015 funded agencies, and hear from keynote speaker Tess Thompson, playwright and author who will discuss her fascinating journey from a small town in southern Oregon to becoming a bestselling author of seven books, including Riversong and Riverbend.
