11th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am + Rob Machado Bro Junior

The 11th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am surf contest and concert returns to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas on July 11. The Bro-Am was created to give back to the San Diego community while benefiting local charities through funds raised at a pre-event auction night soiree (Wednesday, July 8), as well as sponsorships. The day’s festivities will include a corporate surf team contest with riders representing Hurley, Rip Curl, Fish 101, UNIV, and others; live music performances by Switchfoot, Need To Breathe, Drew Holcomb, and Colony House; engaging vendors; and a nerf surf jousting exposition. This year’s event will also welcome back the 4th annual Rob Machado Bro Junior. Open to youngsters ages 16 and under, the Rob Machado Bro Junior places a premium on the competitor having the most fun.
