For the seventh year, San Diego architecture and design firms will create one-of-a-kind tables and chairs, which will be auctioned off as part of Tables for Tots, hosted by G/M Business Interiors, on Thursday, August 27, from 6-9pm. This year’s theme is ”Fun in the Jungle,” and the evening event will be held at Westfield UTC and will feature 21 creatively designed children’s table and chairs sets. San Diego’s top design and architecture firms have transformed standard tables and chairs into a Mayan Civilization, safari jeeps, a jungle river exploration boat, and more. Table entries will be judged during the event and prizes awarded to the top tables. The tables will be auctioned off online for the two weeks prior to the event.  Event proceeds will help provide a range of services at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House — including meals, lodging and emotional support — to families with critically ill or injured children being treated at San Diego-area hospitals.
