La Jolla Art & Wine Festival

The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival takes place on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, transforming La Jolla’s iconic coastal bluffs into a destination for artists, breweries, and wineries to showcase their craft and celebrate the arts. The juried art show features over 150 renowned artists, a silent auction, family art center, gourmet marketplace, and a wine and beer garden showcasing dozens of award-winning wineries from California, Baja, and beyond. San Diego’s top breweries will also be in attendance, and a special nighttime brew fest and beer stein holding contest (Bravecort Brew Fest) is set to take place on Saturday evening after the LJAWF wraps. The event is free to attend and is open to the public. Founded by Sherry Ahern, LJAWF’s proceeds benefit underfunded programs at four local public elementary and middle schools. (www.ljawf.com)
