Plant donations from over 100 local growers, wholesalers, retail nurseries, and individuals make the San Diego Botanic Garden’s annual Fall Plant Sale one of the most interesting and diverse plant sales in the county. October 17-18, choose from hundreds of exotic and unusual plants, as well as a wide selection of drought-tolerant plants that will not only enhance your garden, but also save on your water bill.  Selections include California natives, cacti, succulents, fruit trees, bromeliads, sub-tropicals, and house plants. The Botanic Attic, filled with new and gently-used garden-related items, and the popular Bakery Shoppe, selling home-made baked goods, jams, and jellies, will also available. (www.sdbgarden.org)
