California Surf Museum Gala

Oct. 29

A world-class surf celebration is in the works for the California Surf Museum as it celebrates its 30th year. Its 9th Anniversary Gala Fundraiser will honor Nat Young from Sydney, Australia, winner of the ’66 World Surfing Championships in Ocean Beach. The event expects to bring together hundreds of surfing legends, current professionals, and fans from all over the world for an evening complete with hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef Jared Hills of Hello Betty’s Fish House, followed by a sunset dinner overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Oceanside Pier. Following dinner, music will be provided by Tower 7 while guests peruse surfboards up for auction, along with travel packages, fine dining and wine tasting gift certificates, and more. 760.721.6876, surfmuseum.org
