Fostering Hope Golf Classic

Tournament co-chairs Rolf Benirschke, Bill Sailer, and Dale Yahnke invite the community to tee off at the 26th Annual Fostering Hope Golf Classic. The two-day event features a cocktail party on Sunday evening, followed by Monday’s 18-hole tournament, lunch, and awards ceremony. Sailer says, “VFC trains and supports CASA [Court Appointed Special Advocates] volunteers who can change the life trajectories of the children they serve.” Benirschke adds, “[My wife Mary and I] know the importance and strength a family can provide. Voices for Children stands in the gap for these abused, abandoned, or neglected children, and helps transform their lives.” Proceeds will support the 4,500+ children who will spend time in San Diego County foster care this year. “The golf tournament is a great way to provide awareness to adults who are able to support such an important cause,” says Yahnke. 858.598.2261, speakupnow.org/golf
