Tiffany Paper Flowers

Now blooming at Tiffany & Co. is the Tiffany Paper Flowers collection, the first by Reed Krakoff, the company’s chief artistic officer. The collection was inspired by a simple idea: cutting flower petals from paper and pinning them together. “Luxury shouldn’t always mean formality, so we used precious stones and the finest materials, but in a way that you can live with every day,” Krakoff explains. The idea grew into a collection of colored gemstones inspired by nature — purple tanzanite references the iris, for example, while yellow diamonds “dance” like fireflies. A spectacular diamond bib necklace, more than 68 carats in all, features asymmetrical, deconstructed petals, riveted together with pins. The collection debuted locally at Fashion Valley, and will roll out globally throughout the year. 619.297.7200, tiffany.com
