The Lodge at Torrey Pines’ signature culinary event, Celebrate the Craft, takes place from 11:30am-3pm. The 16th annual festival brings together Southern California’s finest chefs, food artisans, produce, wine, and craft beer for a celebration of the region’s thriving culinary community. Helmed by Executive Chef Jeff Jackson, the event highlights an array of regional culinary talent including Kelli Crosson (A.R. Valentien), Steven Riemer (Oceana Coastal Kitchen), Drew Deckman (Deckman’s en el Mogor), Antonio Friscia (Legal Restaurants), Matt Gordon (Urban Solace and Solace & The Moonlight Lounge), Jason Knibb (Nine-Ten), Jarrod Moiles (Rancho Valencia), Andrew Spurgin, and many more. Additional participants include The Aniata Cheese Company, Bloom Family Farm, Bread & Cie, Point Loma Farms, Stehly Farms Organics, Grgich Hills Estate, Silver Oak Cellars, AleSmith Brewing Company, and You & Yours Distilling Co. All-inclusive tickets are $145 per person, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Slow Food Urban San Diego, a nonprofit that encourages the enjoyment of and access to local, seasonal, and sustainable foods. celebratethecraft.com   Jane Shiomi
