Got too much stuff crowding your home? Items that are too good for the yard sale or flea market? The New Year is a good time to take inventory of all that you have and consider giving some of it away. One option is consigning furniture and home accessories at My Sister’s Attic, a new store that just opened in the Encinitas Village Shopping Center that also houses Trader Joe’s. Here you’ll find a treasure trove of recycled designer furniture from such names as Thomasville, Kreiss, and many other top brands. “If it’s collectable, whimsical, exceptional, or valuable and you’re not using it, we probably have a customer who will,” says a store spokesman. Items need to be clean, in good condition, and look like new. My Sister’s Attic offers 55 percent of the selling price in store credit or 45 percent of the selling price in cash. You can get your cash as soon as your items sell by stopping in the store. The store can also arrange for pickup of your larger items. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find something fabulous that you just have to take home. 760.230.1250, mysistersattic.com   Andrea Naversen
