Our Story

Ranch & Coast Magazine was established over 50 years ago in 1964 as an exclusive Rancho Santa Fe community lifestyle publication, catering to the needs of one of the most affluent zip codes in the United States. In 1995, the magazine’s current publisher came on board, and just three years later, purchased Ranch & Coast.

From our beginning to today, Ranch & Coast provides the most thorough reach into Rancho Santa Fe available as the core of our circulation. In 1995, our reach expanded to include additional areas of affluence and influence, including Del Mar, La Jolla, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley, Santaluz, South Carlsbad, and Olivenhain. Ranch & Coast Magazine is also available at Whole Foods and Cardiff Seaside Market, and in-room at myriad local leading luxury hotels. No other single publication directly saturates and appeals to this niche group of affluent consumers in the same way as Ranch & Coast Magazine.
