The afternoon event featured a grand buffet and informative film about the lagoon. In paying tribute to the guardians and protectors of the lagoon, County Supervisor Pam Slater was on hand to praise the efforts of all involved. The SELC assists in the preservation, protection, and enhancement of the San Elijo Lagoon. Donor funding supports projects that benefit the health of the lagoon and activities for students and the public.
