A Tribute To Gregory Peck An Evening of Remembrance, which celebrated the life of GregoryPeck, was a thoughtful and entertaining tribute to the actor. For the occasion, La Jolla Playhouse was filled with Peck’s admirers who listened as friends told wonderfully warm stories about him. Speakers included Joel Holliday, Des McAnuff, Lauren Bacall, and Geri Ann Warnke. Peck’s beautiful wife, Veronique, and family were in the audience. Though missed, Peck will be ever present at the Playhouse, since the grounds surrounding the Playhouse’s three theatres have been dedicated as Gregory Peck Park.
