1/2 oz Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, 1/2 oz brandy, 2 oz egg nog, 1 ginger snap cookie
Blend everything (including ginger snap cookie), and garnish with another ginger snap — Mille Fleurs

Spirits Of The Season

’Tis the season to celebrate and all through the city bartenders are shaking up cocktails quite fun and so pretty.

All the parties are scheduled on calendars so full, looking forward to sharing good tidings of yule.

Then what to our wondering palates should appear, a seasonal menu of eight new concoctions — it’s no time for beer.

These clever mixmasters so lively and quick, have so many recipes, it’s quite hard to pick.

Then more rapid than eagles the houseguests all came as you shout, "Oh honey, what is your boss’ wife’s name?"

And so into the kitchen your husband soon flew to look up these recipes and make drinks for the crew.

Down the hallway he came with a shake and a twist, mixing cocktails for all, not a glass to be missed.

He spoke not a word but went straight to pour, and filled all the guests’ glasses, some wanted more.

And laying the shaker aside of the bar, then taking a sip of the best drinks by far, guests were heard to exclaim
as they said their goodnights, "’Tis the season to celebrate, and these drinks were just right!"

Peppermint Patty Martini
1 oz Stoli Vanil, 3/4 oz crème de menthe, 1/2 oz Baileys, 1/2 oz half and half, 1/2 oz Just Desserts Thin Mint Liquor, Garnish with a candy cane — Jack’s La Jolla

Mad Groovy Penguin
7 oz ice
4 oz Island Oasis ice cream mix
1/2 oz white crème de cacao
1/2 oz Skyy Vodka
1 oz white crème de menthe
Garnish with Hershey’s
syrup, mint leaf, and chocolate shavings

Irish Coffee
2 1/2 oz Irish whiskey in a tall, heated glass
1 sugarcube
Fill rest of glass with hot black coffee
Top with whipped cream (Mille Fleurs makes theirs in house and uses Kahlua as the sweetener)

The Jack
1 oz lychee-infused vodka
1 oz Soho Lychee Liquor
1 oz Fu-Ki Sake
2 squeezed lime wedges
1/2 oz simple syrup
Garnish with orchid

Crème Brulee Martini
1 oz Stoli Vanil
1 oz Frangelico
1/2 oz Cointreau
Fill the rest with cream
Garnish with vanilla bean

American Pie
2 oz apple juice
1/4 oz Goldschläger (dash)
3/4 oz DeKuyper Pucker Sour Apple Schnapps
1 oz Absolut
Splash lime juice
Garnish with graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon stick, and an apple slice

House Of Blues Nog
1 oz half and half
1/4 oz Rumpleminze
1 oz Starbucks Coffee Liqueur
3/4 oz Starbucks Cream Liqueur
Shake all together until frothy, strain into glass, and sprinkle nutmeg on froth
