Sun Day
The sun shone brightly once again on Dia Del Sol, the 37th annual home tour and fashion show presented by the Beach and Country Guild to benefit United Cerebral Palsy. Tanya and Charles Brandes opened their Rancho Santa Fe estate, and Nordstrom presented the latest fall and holiday looks. The Beach and Country Guild is the hardest working group in town — they personally prepared and served the divine lunch. This year’s event was chaired by Chris Breining, Diane DeMarino, Marlene Gotz, and Linda Nordstrom. KUSI’s Kimberly Hunt, once again, was emcee.

Women Of Dedication Tea
Fifteen outstanding women were recently honored as 2007 Women of Dedication at a beautiful tea hosted by Barbara Zobell in her La Jolla home. The gorgeous setting, elegant floral arrangements, delicious food, and many attendees contributed to a memorable day for the special women who will be celebrated at the March 26 luncheon by the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. Carol Katz masterfully coordinated the tea. What a day for everyone present — most especially for the 2007 Women of Dedication.
