Hands Across Borders Gala

Project Concern International is honoring two local families at its  27th annual Hands Across Borders gala on Saturday, October 24, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. The Hoehn (Hoehn Motors) and Zable (Cubic Corporation) families will receive PCI’s Legacy Award for their multi-generational support of international humanitarian projects. Both families have traveled to visit PCI’s work in India and Zambia, served on the organization’s board, made significant financial contributions, and offered support through their respective companies. Three school leaders — Carol Jensen from Francis Parker School, Susie Nordenger from La Jolla Country Day ,and David Moseley from The Bishop’s School — are also being recognized with PCI’s Heroes award for encouraging global citizenship among their students.
