Masterpiece Gala

Patrons of the Prado celebrated 21 years of giving with its annual Masterpiece Gala. The Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park was transformed into an enchanting backdrop with this year’s theme of “Masquerade in the Park.” The event, co-chaired by Merridee Book, Stephanie Brown, and Roxi Link, included an elegant dinner by Chef Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille and performances by the San Diego Opera, San Diego Ballet, and dancing to the magical sounds of NRG. This year’s gala recognized legacy sponsor The Nemeth Foundation and the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation.
