The North County Food Bank hosts its inaugural Season of Giving Gala in The Ballroom at CSUSM. Bid on silent auction items while indulging in seasonal beverages and hors d’oeuvres and listening to the melodious musical arrangements of the San Diego Harmony Ringers, a highly talented handbell choir group. A farm-to-table three-course dinner will be capped off with decadent holiday desserts and treats. The live auction will feature fabulous packages, and the evening will end on an energetic note with dancing to the rhythmic sounds of Latin jazz group Bill Caballero Sextet. Proceeds will support the North County Food Bank’s vital hunger-relief programs including the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program, which provides weekend backpacks of food for elementary school children living in poverty. 858.863.5199, northcountyfoodbank.org/gala
